Housekeeping Planner
The executive housekeeper's staffing plan for the morning. Today's departures, stay-overs, linen changes, VIP rooms, deep cleans and public areas become workload minutes (or credits), and the minutes become the attendants you need, against those scheduled, in persons, hours and labour cost, with the formula written out. The rooms are split into one section per attendant, balanced by minutes on as few floors as possible, printed as a sheet per attendant or set straight into Room Status; and the forecast gives the attendants needed for each day of the week.
1 · Today's rooms
| Floor | Room type | Departures | Stay-overs | of which linen change | VIP | Deep cleans | Remove |
|---|
One row per floor and room type, from the PMS housekeeping report after the night audit: departures (due out and checked out), stay-overs and, of those, the ones with a linen change today; the VIP rooms among them; vacant rooms planned for a deep clean.
How the codes of Room Status are read: DO, CO and VD are departure cleans; OD is a stay-over; OCC is a stay-over already serviced (or a guest who arrived today), so no work, unless the board is still yesterday's; VC and VI are clean; OOO for a deep clean is a deep clean; other OOO and OOS rooms wait for maintenance.
No rooms yet. Type the counts above, or .

- Depa
r ture clean. The guest has left: full clean, bed made fresh, bathroom, amenities, minibar check. - Stay-over. The guest stays: bed made, bathroom refreshed, towels, rubbish, amenities topped up.
- Stay-over with linen change. A stay-over on the night the bed linen is changed (house rule, often every third night, or on request).
- Deep clean. The periodic clean of a vacant room: behind and under the furniture, curtains, vents, grout, mattress turned.
- VIP s
e t-up. Added to the clean of a VIP room: amenity, letter, extra check by the supervisor.
Where the defaults come from: the planning values of a mid-scale city hotel as housekeeping time studies and brand standards usually put them. A double takes 30 minutes after a departure, 20 as a stay-over and 25 with the linen change; a suite about one and a half to two times a double; a deep clean two hours. A shift is 8.5 hours on site with a 30-minute unpaid break, of which about 85 % is productive: the briefing, setting up the trolley, linen runs and travel between floors take the rest. In credits, one credit is one stay-over of a double (20 minutes), so 20 credits fill a shift. Time ten cleans of each kind in your own rooms and replace these values. Time your rooms with the Time Study.

Your work
All your work in one file
Every tool keeps your work only in this browser. Save it as one file to keep a copy, to carry on from another phone or computer, or to hand it to a colleague. Nothing is uploaded.
Then clear old entries in these tools to make room: the file keeps them, and opens on any device.
Works offline too: once a tool has been opened on this device, it and the other tools of its role open without a connection.
Team sync Off
Share the tools you choose with your team: every device keeps working without a connection and syncs when it can. The work is encrypted on this device with a key made from the team code, so the server cannot read it.
Your team code
On another device, open this box and scan the code or type the six words under “Join a team”. Give it only to your team: whoever has it can read and change the shared work; for someone who should only look, make a read-only code instead. Write it down; it is not shown again.
Read-only: this device takes the team's work and sends nothing, so it can neither change nor delete the team's copy. Changes made here to the shared tools are not sent, and the next sync replaces them with the team's copy.
For someone who should see the team's work but not change it, such as a manager or a screen on the wall. It cannot change or delete anything.
When someone leaves the team: the work moves to a new code and the old copy is deleted. Every other device then joins again with the new code, and the old read-only codes stop working.
Read-only code
On the other device, open this box and scan the code or paste it under “Join a team”. Whoever has it can read the shared work, so give it only to people who may see it. It stops working when the team changes its code.
