CV Builder
A CV that looks like it was made by a designer, in the time it takes to type it. Add your photo, type a company's website and its logo appears, and watch every change on real A4 pages before you save the PDF.
In the print window choose “Save as PDF”, paper A4, margins “None” or “Default”, and switch on “Background graphics”.
A strong CV
Six seconds decide
Recruiters scan before they read. Make the first look count.
- Results, not duties. “Responsible for the team” says little. “Led 12 people; complaints down by a third” says a lot.
- One page per ten years. Recent roles get detail; older ones get a line or two.
- Match the job ad. Use the same words for the skills the ad asks for, so screening software finds them.
- Same format everywhere. Dates as MM.YYYY, cities after companies, one style for every bullet point.
- Logos help the eye. A known company logo is recognised faster than its name. Type the website and it is added.
- Keep a backup. Save the backup file after big changes; open it on any device to keep working.
Your CV stays in this browser; nothing is uploaded, and photos and logos you add are kept only on this device. Only when you type a company website, that address is sent to Google's icon service to fetch the logo.
