Poka-Yoke Register

Keep every mistake-proofing device in one register: the scan that blocks a wrong pick, the scale that rejects a short parcel, the PMS lock that keeps an uninspected room off sale. Each one has the error it prevents, its method after Shingo, whether it stops the process or only warns, and whether it prevents the error or detects it. Test each on its schedule with a deliberate error, and the register shows what is due, what failed, how many tests were done on time, how much each device cut its error, and which errors are not protected today.

1 · Add a device to the register

Each shift and daily: due again the next day (the register counts days, not shifts; record one check per shift if you test every shift). Weekly: 7 days. Monthly: 30 days. These are defaults; choose what your risk needs.

The date it was last proven to work before it came into this register. Every check you record afterwards moves it on.

Errors per month before the device and since, from your own defect or complaint log. Optional: they give the effectiveness.

2 · Verify a device

Verify means: feed the device the error it should catch and see it react. A failed check marks the device failed until a later check says it works.

Your work

All your work in one file

Every tool keeps your work only in this browser. Save it as one file to keep a copy, to carry on from another phone or computer, or to hand it to a colleague. Nothing is uploaded.

Team sync Off

Share the tools you choose with your team: every device keeps working without a connection and syncs when it can. The work is encrypted on this device with a key made from the team code, so the server cannot read it.
