Daily Board

Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People as five month calendars of green, amber and red days. Three letters fill themselves from the logs you already keep here; you mark the rest by hand. Then a ten-minute huddle agenda, ready to read out.

Workplace profile optional

The site, its shifts, its areas with their owners and the targets that colour the board. Kept once in this browser and read by every tool.

1 · Mark a day by hand

Cost and People come only from here. An entry for Safety, Quality or Delivery overrules what the logs say for that day.

What the colours mean
S Safety Safety Cross, 5S Audit, or by hand
✕ Red An accident or a first-aid case that day.
! Amber A near miss, an unsafe condition, or a 5S audit below its target.
✓ Green A day without an incident, once the Safety Cross is in use.
Q Quality Damage Control, Incomplete Control, Night Audit Log
✕ Red Damage, incomplete orders or audit exceptions above the target rate. Without a volume: a count clearly above the usual day.
! Amber Within 20 % of the target, or above the usual count.
✓ Green Nothing logged, or a rate under the target.
D Delivery Delay Analyzer
✕ Red On-time routes below the target.
! Amber Within 5 points of the target. With only some routes logged, late routes above the usual.
✓ Green On time at or above the target.
C Cost By hand
✕ Red What you decide, for example overtime above the daily target or unplanned agency staff.
! Amber Overtime or extra cost that stayed inside the target but needs a word.
✓ Green A day inside the plan.
P People By hand
✕ Red Absences above the target, or a shift that ran short-staffed.
! Amber An absence covered, a new starter, a training gap.
✓ Green Everyone there, everyone trained for the work.
